CUSTOM BUILT VALVE GUITAR AMPLIFIERS Here at Neale Amplifiers our aim is to build the best quality valve guitar amplifiers we can, using proven tube amp circuits combined with modern component technology and a few tricks of our own, all hand-crafted with great care and attention to detail. There is no substitute for the real thing: pure valve technology is the only way to deliver supreme guitar tone. There are no digital simulators here, just the real thing.
Hand made guitar amps Hand crafted in South Australia, each amplifier comes with personalised service and a three year guarantee (excluding loudspeakers and valves). We will work with you to design and manufacture equipment to meet your exact requirements. Guitar amplifier valves Amplifiers can be supplied in a range of powers using the traditional guitar tubes such as 6V6GT, 6L6GT (5881), EL34, EL84, KT66, and the high power KT88. We can use solid state power supplies for the harder sound, or valve rectifiers to contribute to perfect power stage compression, which makes tube amps sustain and sing. Guitar power amplifiers Duets or Quads, Class A or Class AB, single-ended or push-pull. It's your sound we are striving for, so you make the choice. We offer tube guitar amplifiers in a range of powers; for example: 10 watt single-ended amps, 18 watt amps, 25 watt amps, or 50 watt heads. Choose the right power to suit your playing style and performance requirement. Alternatively, if you have a favourite odd-ball tube, or a stash of uncommon tubes hidden away, we can custom design power and output transformers for a range of valve amps. Guitar pre-amps We offer a range of pre-amp configurations - single channel, dual channel, overdrive. You can select channels with voice of your choice - American Classic, American Deluxe, British Classic, British Deluxe, British Invasion, Overdrive Deluxe. Tremolo and tube-driven reverb. It's your amp, so make it exactly what you want. We can use the traditional guitar tubes like the 12AX7 or 12AY7, or get smooth tone from octal tubes like the 6SL7 or 6SN7. Harp amps Included in our range is an amp design specially configured for the harmonica player. We use the classic bassman tone circuit and a special out-of-balance phase splitter to provide the thickness loved by harp players. Coupled with 6L6GT power valves and a valve rectifier, these amps can be configured between 25 and 45 watts. Selected components Amplifiers are all hand-wired. We use metal film resistors and polyester or polypropylene capacitors in the signal path to ensure low noise, and two-watt carbon resistors are used in the critical plate-load role to contribute to compression and sustain. Guitar speaker cabinets Our custom hand made speaker cabinets are made from meranti timber or 18mm ply (depending on your budget). We can offer a range of finishes, from rugged tolex replacement vinyls to furniture grade timber finishes. Valve combo amps or a small head and speaker cabinet, or the wide head and speaker stack. It's your amp, so please tell us what you want. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much vintage valve tone you'll get for our prices. Guitar amp loudspeakers We can use Celestion speakers such as the Greenback, the Vintage V30, or the Alnico Blue for the classic British rock tone, and we use Weber alnico loudspeakers for a wide range of vintage American tones. pure vacuum, pure tone.
